                As people we need to eat to be healthy and stay alive. In the movie Food Inc., it shows what is going on with the food we eat. When the food gets processed they do it as fast and cheap as possible, which can lead to e-coli or other illness.

                I think that they need to get more workers to inspect and keep up with the cleaning and maintenance. It states in the movie that all the cows would stand in manure all day, which is one of the main causes of e-coli. As many cows are in the slaughter houses, you can’t tell me that every single one is sanitary before they’re processed. It’s pretty disgusting to think that is what we are eating and just because it’s packaged and from the company it is ok.

                Food Inc. also shows how they give the chickens a medicine or a type of steroid to make them grow faster and plumper. When they do this it is probably unhealthy for the chicken much less the person eating it. I find it funny how none of the people who ran the chicken or cow plants, wouldn’t let the people with the cameras film what exactly is going on in the plants.
